Description Lynn Bendixsen 2006-10-19 22:32:37 UTC
Steps:
1. Install openSUSE10.2 Alpha5plus from DVD
2. during software selection portion of install select the "Xen Virtual Machine Host Server" pattern
3. after installation open /boot/grub/menu.lst and observe that there is no entry for Xen.

This failed on both 32 and 64 bit OSes.
This bug was entered and fixed for SLES 10 but it is not working in oS10.2. If I remove the rpms and then reinstall them, the Grub entry appears so this error seems to only occur during installation.

Olaf: iirc grub will be written in postinstall when you install a xen kernel, not sure how this is handled during first installation. Please reassign if this is not a yast problem.

aosthof: Indeed this seems to be in the code called on post-install. Please
have a look.
