If I try to drag and drop items from the history or even the applications-tab to the favourites tab, i.e. by dragging them to the tab-title, the mouse-cursor indicates that this is not possible.

http://home.kde.org/~binner/kickoff/sneak_preview.html shows that this should be possible, hence the bug and not enhancement status. IMO it should be possible to add items via d&d from all tabs to the favourites.

yes, it was broken for final but is already fixed and will be part of a collective online update.
