Description Olaf Heinze 2006-12-13 11:53:23 UTC
acpid works, events are fired but powersave scripts seem not to work correct.

Question is left if the powersave daemon sets the correct environment variables needed by "helper_functions"
Comment 1 Holger Macht 2006-12-13 12:59:22 UTC
That's because kpowersave is not ready to do this as it should. If kpowersave is running it has to care about about these acpi events. Due to the power management stack redesign we did from 10.1 to 10.2 this got lost. An online update is likely to be soon for kpowersave. Until then you might want to have a look at this page http://dkukawka.blogspot.com/2006/11/kpowersave-config-tutorial.html.

Danny, please close this bug as duplicate. I just can't find the right one at the moment.
