Description macias - 2006-12-25 10:11:10 UTC
10.0 updated to 10.2

Yast2 IS shows some error getting info from 10.0 repos. Ok, I understand that. I was asked if I want to get those sources removed automatically --> No. I entered YIS and removed them manually, I added some repos for 10.2. Save & quit.

I launched Yast2 Soft.Management --> It complains again about 10.0 repos. What the heck? YIS again --> the 10.0 repos are back :-(

Can you please attach y2logs. If you are in doubt please follow: http://en.opensuse.org/YaST.

Thanks!

Saving server space :-)

I already deleted old repos.
Comment 3 Jiří Suchomel 2007-01-09 09:24:31 UTC
So where is the problem? That deletion didn't work at some time? How did you remove them later?
Comment 4 macias - 2007-01-09 10:20:57 UTC
The problem is that manual removal should work. Just like that -- I choose "remove" and the source is removed. And this does not work.

I removed them agreeing for automatic removal. This one works.
Comment 5 Ladislav Slezák 2007-01-15 08:25:21 UTC
The problem is that yast (libzypp) doesn't report sources which are "broken", so yast cannot display them. The only way is to automatically remove such sources.

I really doubt it is a duplicate.

I am not talking about not displaying repos. I am talking about being UNABLE to remove the repos manually. But in a way that I cannot see them -- I see them, but my removing action is simply ignored.

Those two reports are related but are different:
* that report -- you cannot see the "broken" repo
* my report -- you see all repos but manual removal of old repo is silently ignored (fake removal)

Broken sources are displayed now, see #265579
Comment 8 Ladislav Slezák 2007-08-09 15:06:40 UTC
This is fixed in 10.3, you can see and remove all repositories.
