Description Thomas Siedentopf 2007-01-08 06:29:49 UTC
in openSUSE 10.2 I am not longer able to use the full set of powersave functionallity like (for example) in 10.2 on a Samsung X20 notebook. I am no longer able to configure my hardware buttons to initiate an event. This is "Power-Button" for Shutdown, and "Suspend-Button" for Suspend-to-whatever. The configuration dialog is missing in kpowersave. The config methods described in Dannys Blog do not work for these two buttons. The LID-Close also does not work anymore - and - just like above with the buttons - I am not able to configure an event for this.

I am attaching dmidecode and hwinfo output.
