Description Magnus Boman 2007-02-28 19:43:43 UTC
In the Evolution mail client, the Cancel button is always enabled. It should be disabled/grayed out if there are no operations in progress.
See attached screenshot.

This seem to be a bug in evolution actually. If I switch to another view (Contacts, Calender etc) and then back to Mail, the Cancel button will be grayed out. But as soon as Evo syncs the email (either automatically or manually) it will be enabled again and won't disable unless switching to other views.

Magnus, What made this bug to be a blocker?
Comment 4 Magnus Boman 2007-04-10 23:28:21 UTC
The age of it and no activity. If you would like to assign it and lower the priority, it's fine.

Magnus, This has been like this since Evolution was written. The current architecture is a limitation to this. We are relooking at the task management within evolution for SLED11 with non-intrusive errors. The cancel would go away/integrate in a very different way.
