Bugzilla – Bug 251137
YaST2 Software Manager not working after update to alpha 2
Last modified: 2007-03-05 04:15:29 UTC
When starting yast2 software manager either from control-center or via ncurses a message box appears "initializing target system" and "scanning rpm database", when the 100% level is reached, yast2 software manager quits without further notice.
tried to upload the yast2 logs, file y2logs.tgz rejected as too large: "The file you are trying to attach is 6707 kilobytes (KB) in size. Non-patch attachments cannot be more than 5120 KB. We recommend that you store your attachment elsewhere on the web, and then insert a link to it in a comment, or in the URL field for this bug. Alternately, if your attachment is an image, you could convert it to a compressible format like JPG or PNG and try again."
you may get the logs from http://www.freewebs.com/casualprogrammer/Downloads/y2logs.tgz
