Installation of Lexmark Network printer C524DN failed, due to error with Lexmark provided PPD file.
Installation of rpm driver package not working. No additional drivers in list available.
Download of PPD files set for C 520/522/524 and select PPD file during Printer installation failed (see screenshot error message)
Installation on suse <10.2 not a problem.
Yast=>Hardware=>Printer=>Add=>NetworkPrinters=>Print directly to network Printer
=> Direct TCP Port printing
=> <Printer IP Address>  => Test <Successful>
=> Name::MyNewPrinter
=> Append PPD File to Database => Local PPD file => Select unpacked PPD files (utf8, foomatic, ...)
Error: No suitable PPD file downloaded

YaST tests intentionally if added PPDs are o.k.
The higher the CUPS version the more errors are detected
by cupstestppd (therefore it worked for < 10.2).

Lexmark's PPD file is broken.
Ask Lexmark for a fixed PPD.
The bug report is invalid for us.
