Since the latest kernel update, the boot splash screen automatically changed to show the Kernel update ID however, it eliminate the Fail Safe for SuSE and provided a Floppy drive instead. I went in to YAST to boot loader and changed listing but my concern is that this was done automatically without warning. Since the update, I was fascinated to find that if you have an Apple iPod in the USB port when you poer cycle, you simply are greeted with a blank screen after the boot splash screen appearance. One last issue I found was that SuSE was complaining about a power issue cannot be set to 0. This is great however, I am using a Desktop machine...not a laptop!
