Description S Berendsen 2007-05-12 22:53:43 UTC
Unnecessary duplication between 'Favorites' and 'History' - it might be a good idea to exclude any programs present in the 'Favorites' tab from being displayed in the 'History' tab. Reason is that these will habitually be launched from the 'Favorites' tab as it is opened earlier than 'History'.

Timed accessing of subdirectories in 'Applications': From other DEs (KDE Kicker, Windows, Mac ...) one expects subdirectories to open up after hovering over them for a couple of seconds. This also applies to the go-back arrow when showing a subdirectory.

Yes there are duplicate entries in 'Favorites' and 'History'. The distinction is in 'Favorites' there are the most commonly used applications and in 'History' there are recently uses applications and documents. If you don't display the recently used applications in 'History' because they are already displayed in 'Favorites', you can't find all the applications you recently have used. 'Favorites' tab is only opened earlier when you first open start menu, when you e.g. browse in 'Applications' you can go to 'Favorites' or 'History'.

The click in 'Applications' is made on purpose. Hovering would make the navigation more confusing.
