Description Frank Sundermeyer 2007-06-21 09:15:15 UTC
Since updating to kdepim3 3.5.5-39 (official bugfix update) KAlarm crashes on KDE start, every time an alarm should go off or when you enter a new alarm. Here is the backtrace from the KDE Crash handler:

System configuration startup check disabled.

I am also suffering this problem.

I would like to mention that I have tried downgrading kdepim3 but, even after that, it continues failing:

jlopez@pc:~> rpm -qa|grep kdepim
kdepim3-networkstatus-3.5.5-36
kdepim3-notes-3.5.5-36
kdepim3-time-management-3.5.5-36
kdepim3-3.5.5-38
libopensync-plugin-kdepim-0.20-12
kdepim3-mobile-3.5.5-36
kdepim3-kpilot-3.5.5-36

Just in case it could help.
Javier

Downgrading to 3.5.5-36 kalarm works again:

kdepim3-notes-3.5.5-36
kdepim3-time-management-3.5.5-36
