Output of dmesg before running "hwinfo --cdrom"

I am relatively sure this has been introduced at one point in the month
of June. After a fresh boot, the system no longer creates a device for
my DVD drive, though dmesg clearly indicates the drive has been found.

Running "hwinfo --cdrom" fixes this.

I attached the output of dmesg (before running hwinfo).

Running "hwinfo --cdrom" added the following lines to the output of dmesg:

  > sr0: scsi3-mmc drive: 125x/94x writer cd/rw xa/form2 cdda tray
  > Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision: 3.20
  > sr 3:0:0:0: Attached scsi CD-ROM sr0
