When setting up the network in order to include the default repositories (the new network setup step), it is possible to use wireless adapters, too.

If you do so, it is not possible to set up the WLAN, so using a wireless adapter will not work (perhaps it would if only _one_ _open_ network would be present).

For 10.3 we support only ethernet cards ;-(.
