Bugzilla – Bug 299101
Internet Repositories added before Installation - can't be used while Installation
Last modified: 2007-08-10 06:51:32 UTC
Created attachment 156633 [details] /var/log/Yast2 In the screen Installation mode you can check 'Add Internet Repositories Before Installation'. Then you can set up Network as next step and a list of 'additional community repositories' is downloaded. I checked all three and a bunch of metadata is downloaded, a repository cache is build for each. After setting the timezone you can change the installated Software. If you click on 'Details...' you get the standard yast2 sw_single sidebar where you can choose Filter: repositories. But the only one availlable is the cd. After installation all repositories are availlable. I did some test installation. System: openSUSE 10.3 Beta1 KDE-Cd auf vmware x86 I'll attach the y2logs I took after installation. If the information of the early Installation-Process is not included I can trie to reproduce it. I just found out too late about shift + F8. Peter Buschbacher
