Description Olaf Goergen 2007-08-14 08:49:26 UTC
Hello together,

tree day ago I installed OpenSuSE 10.3 beta1. At the first installation after a short period of time I got during the operation: YAST : "Software Management" the error message : " Warnung There was an error in repository initialization. Database is locked " and in the Repositories Filter of the Software Management folder was only the videolan/vlc Repository available.
So I installed 10.3 beta 1 a second time with the same error message.

As additional repositories I installed packman and Guru.

The report are in the attachment.

Best regards and good luck,

Olaf Goergen

Looks to me as if it is fixed after manually updating all packages from factory using rpm -Fvh

I think it's already fixed, but I cannot find the original report to mark it as a duplicate...
