I think a useful and important addition to zypper is a functionality really appreciated by yum users, which is able to interpret the following command:

yum install package*

installing all the packages whose name starts with package.

I'd suggest to implement the same functionality for:

zypper in package*

Yes, we are already considering this feature, unfortunately it's already too late for 10.3
