Description Nikola Yanev 2007-08-17 03:19:00 UTC
When I try to update the latest Kernel i got this: Can't install kernel-default-2.6.22.3-16.1@i586: no package provides perl-Bootloader >= 0.4.21.i586.rpm
Here is my system:
OS: Linux 2.6.22.2-47-default i686
  Current user: gericom@hummer
  System: openSUSE 10.2 (i586)
  KDE: 3.5.7 "release 64.1"
I was trying to find this version of perl-Bootloader, but no success.

You're trying to use an openSUSE 10.3 kernel on an openSUSE 10.2 system. While this is a good method for testing, you can't assume that dependencies will be met by the older installation.

You can download the updated perl-Bootloader here: http://ftp.opensuse.org/pub/opensuse/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/suse/i586/perl-Bootloader-0.4.23-4.i586.rpm

I'm closing this as invalid.
