Bugzilla – Bug 303927
Changing media during installation fails, unless manually unmounted.
Last modified: 2007-08-29 17:29:14 UTC
As reported in #301562 as point 3 and requested as a separate bug if found in Beta 2, this problem still exists... When the installation was done with the main media it asked for the add-on CD. Pressing 'Eject' (in my case 'Skub ud') opened the bottom drive (sr1) and the top one would not open (most likely the same issue as in 1). It would however happily read from sr1 this time around...?! Actually, in this case of non-oss addon, it wanted the addon before being finished with the main media. It didn't say it wanted another media, only that the package didn't exist on the media. There was no eject button and only umount /dev/sr0 allowed me to continue....
could you add the YaST logfiles, please?
Sure.. I think I have found the right ones now
