y2log is attached.

I tried to install a package with yast2/Software management.
The rpm is on a local directory ; I select it under yast2, click accept.
The package installation seems to run extremely quickly. Then I click "yes" at the message "install or remove more packages ?" and there I can check that the package was not installed and was still flagged as "install".

If I do, from Konqueror, "Install package with yast", I get the same problem.

This bug is a showstopper for testing beta2 as I cannot install any patch or update

Somehow I was able to work around it by deleting OSS Factory repository and re-adding it with different URL (ftp.gwdg.de..).
Though after recent YaST update it stopped working again, see https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=306616
