Description of Problem:
I want to complie gtk# 1.9.5 on x86_64 platform. When I compile ".../gnome/
glue" I see this bug: 
/usr/lib/libpopt.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format
I think this must be "/usr/lib64/libpopt.so" path

GTK# 2.5.5 have this bug too

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. ./configure
2. make

Sounds like a problem with fc4's popt or libgnome-devel package. We
rely on pkg-config to extract those deps properly.
