Description Jared Jensen 2007-09-24 16:56:59 UTC
I noticed there was a mandatory update available so I click the openSUSE updater and all it told me was that there was 1 mandatory update. I don't usually like to take updates without knowing what they are so I clicked details. All this did was open up the YaST Package Selector with a whole bunch of packages listed. I can't tell which package is being suggested for update. So I am inclined not to take it.

If a user clicks on details for an update shouldn't they be taken to a list of the packages that are going to be updated instead of a list of packages that they can install?

This was already fixed post-RC1. The update of the applet should give you online_update module instead of package selector.
