Description Alexander Schaber 2007-09-24 19:43:58 UTC
Hello, I'm having problems installing openSUSE 10.3 rc1 as a domU under SLES 10 sp1.
After the RPMS are installed and the installer is rebooting (the virtual machine) .. I get back to the xen domU creation wizard which tells me that no kernel is found, therefore the installation may have failed.

I've tried another time and checked that the kernel-xen is being installed, which it is, but still I'm getting the same error. Also tried "Minimal Install" as well as Standard KDE Install.

Both tries sourced from a FTP which had the DVD copied onto it.

You will need to move up to opensSUSE 10.3 RC2 for your domU if made available externally or whatever ships after RC1. The reason is described in bugs 326478 and 326985. I am going to mark this bug as a duplicate.
