Description Tejun Heo 2007-09-25 08:46:02 UTC
When I switch between X and other VC's, brightness is blown up to full. If I adjust brightness, it goes back to the previous level. There are 8 brightness levels and what seems to happen is...

 1. brightness is originally 4
 2. switching from or to X blows brightness to 10
 3. pressing brightness down key makes brightness 3

Similar thing also happens when resuming from STR. Brightness is blown up to full but in this case brightness control keys don't work at all. Switching to another VC brings brightness control back.
