Build1120: runlevel 3 after update instead of runlevel 5 before
Last modified: 2007-09-26 09:59:38 UTC
I updated a 10.2 with build 1120 on a x86_64 system. default runlevel with 10.2 was 5 after the update in /etc/inittab there is still: id:5:initdefault: but system just boots into runlevel 3

So X doesn't start, correct? Can I login to this machine?
Same problem on my i386 machine. It looks like this problem just appears right after booting from stage 2 into the system. After an usual reboot runlevel 5 (and X) were started fine.
Currently not reproducable. Holger will try again with RC2.
Holger figured out that the problem is, that the grub failsafe is booted, which defaults to runlevel 3 ==> booloader problem --> reassigning.
