Created attachment 178266 [details] YaST2 log files taken from failed repair system startup These log files were retrieved[0] from a VMWare session where I tried to use the i386 repair system boot option. These are from the normal invocation which would have resulted in YaST using the QT GUI. [0] While bash on console #2 doesn't respond, and appears to have been killed due to the failure, there is still bash running on console #6.

I was wondering if there is gonna be an updated iso image with the repair system feature fixed since it is very useful and sometimes essential. If not, is there a workaround?
afaik there should be new "driver update CD" with fixed repair system released.
