Eclipse IDE Fails to load.

I have installed Eclipse via Yast software management , no error were given when it was installing but after installation was successful the program cannot luanch. The following is the exact error message i get. "JVM terminated. Exit code=-1 -Djava.class.path=/usr/share/eclipse/./plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.0.v20070606.jar -os linux -ws gtk -arch x86 -showsplash -launcher /usr/lib/eclipse/eclipse -name Eclipse --launcher.library /usr/lib/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher.gtk.linux.x86_1.0.0.v20070606/eclipse_1017a.so -startup /usr/share/eclipse/./plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.0.v20070606.jar -vm /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun-1.5.0_update12/jre/bin/../lib/i386/client/libjvm.so -vmargs -Djava.class.path=/usr/share/eclipse/./plugins/org.eclipse.equinox.launcher_1.0.0.v20070606.jar " It might just be something i cuased , but i have been in the suse IRC and i have heared people are having similar problems. I confirm this one on openSUSE 32 bit.
Thanks for the report. This bug is probably related to bug #328671. Please, try to install Java 1.6
Just a note, I tried with an x86_64 install with Java 1.6 it all worked -installation was done with smart package manager (http://labix.org/smart). Attaching a bitmap of list of packages installed.
Created attachment 183913 [details] example eclipse 64 bit install via smart - it worked.
Works with java 1.6 so assuming its a duplicate of 328671 and we've shipped a fix for that. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 328671 ***
