shutdown" and similar is missing from the KDE menu for me.
kdm/gdm offers to shutdown the computer and the sysconfig value is set to "auto" so users should be able to shutdown the computer from the KDE menu but there is only logout available.

When I freshly installed 10.3 the shutdown options where available but they disappeared shortly after. Either caused by an update or caused by another setting I changed.

shutdown is missing? are you running KDE from gdm?

Yes, I do.
And that worked with 10.2 correctly.
