Description christoph maass 2007-10-24 19:54:56 UTC
After booting into runlevel 5 the keyboard is not functioning.
CTRL-ALT-BACKSP does not work to restart the X-server. CTRL-ALT-F[1-6] does work. In these consoles the keyboard is funtioning so I'm able to log in as root. After 'init 3' followed by 'init 5' I'm able to log in in X.
Here are some additional informations:

root@fcmvm03 $ ./kbd reload
Loading keymap i386/qwertz/de-latin1-nodeadkeys.map.gz done
Loading compose table latin1.add done
Start Unicode mode done
Loading console font lat9w-16.psfu -m trivial G0:loadable
setfont: putfont: 256,8x16: failed: -1
putfont: KDFONTOP: Invalid argument failed
