Description Markus Breitinger 2007-11-06 15:47:25 UTC
I have the problem on three different computers with AMD X2 processors.

One time i got the message:
WARNING: Currently emulating unsupported memory access in /lib/tls glibc libraries. The emulation is slow. To ensure full performance you should install a 'xen-friendly' (nosegneg) version of the library, or disable tls support by executing the following as root:
mv /lib/tls /lib/tls.disabled
Offending process xlock(pid=5759)

I can't find a /lib/tls on these computers, but how can i change the used version when the warning is unusable to solve the problem.
All the other times when i try to boot the computers i get segmentation faults.

Please send me a solution how i can setup the correct version of the glibc.

Thanks

Markus Breitiner
