Bugzilla – Bug 345879
xconsole before gdm login
Last modified: 2007-12-12 20:39:12 UTC
Before gdm is started, there appears an ugly gray background and a xconsole window at the bottom-left of the screen. If autologin is enabled in gdm, this xconsole window remains opened on the gnome-desktop (also in bottom-left position) and could only be closed by root, e.g. using "killall xconsole". this does not happen if autologin is disabled in gdm.
Fixed as part of the update for bug 304399. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 304399 ***
