Description Rasmus Plewe 2007-12-06 10:56:45 UTC
After resuming from having suspended to disk (apparently successful, both the suspending and the resuming), I get a window with "Error" in the title, telling me "Suspend failed" and an "OK" button. This seems to happen when I'm using a wireless network connection using a PCMCIA wlan card, and not when using cabled network.

The computer in question is an Acer Ferrari 3200 with a ATI mobility Radeon 9600/9700 video card.

Danny, any idea where such a message could come from?` maybe an error returned from networkmanager? pm-suspend exits with zero...
Comment 4 Danny Al-Gaaf 2007-12-07 14:09:49 UTC
If the reporter suspended via KDE menu: a duplicate of #326848 and his friends/duplicates.

This is not a error message from KPowersave. If there would be an error KPowersave would also offer to show the suspend log.
Comment 5 Rasmus Plewe 2007-12-07 14:30:54 UTC
Yes, I used the KDE menue, and the screen wasn't locked afterwards, so it's probably a duplicate.
