Description Andreas Pedersen 2007-12-13 20:08:42 UTC
Request:
cron should be installed by default in openSUSE. When I'm choosing minimal SUSE install.

logrotate is needed by cron, and its installed by default.

Looks like at least logrotate on my 10.3 box does not depend on cron.
Comment 2 Cristian Rodriguez 2007-12-31 20:56:40 UTC
cron is still missing in the minimal pattern it seems

because cron is not required by itself in a minimal system. If logrotate requires it for minimum functionality, then be it.

But I would even think logrotate is already not needed in a minimal system. In a well working system, logrotate is a requirement, but not in a _minimal_ one.

weakened requires for logrotate to recommends in aaa_base
