Description Mike Whincup 2008-01-01 15:07:22 UTC
If I install the package

eclipse-cdt Version 4.0-50

yast claims all dependencies are resolved, but once I'm into eclipse, it tells me that the cdt.core plugin is missing.

I have found that if I remove eclipse-cdt and instead install

eclipse-cdt-archdep-commons Version 4.0-44

then again yast is able to resolve the depencies, and additionally eclipse itself is satisfied that i have all referenced plugins installed correctly.

Hi Mike, thank you for the bug report. Yes, you are right we made a mistake when we were packaging CDT.

For openSUSE 11.1 eclipse-cdt is going to be dropped.
