Bugzilla – Bug 358451
Nautilus plugins do not work
Last modified: 2008-03-04 18:40:37 UTC
Nautilus plugins do not work. I've got nautilus-sendto, -terminal, -share and -cd-burner installed but they don't appear in the menus or otherwise. mboman@fac64:~> rpm -qa nautilus* nautilus-cd-burner-lang-2.21.6-3 nautilus-sendto-0.10-107 nautilus-share-0.7.0-172 nautilus-cd-burner-2.21.6-3 nautilus-lang-2.21.90-3 nautilus-open-terminal-0.7-171 nautilus-2.21.90-3
This is because the plugins needed to be rebuilt/changed because the plugins moved to /usr/lib64/nautilus/extensions-2.0 for the nautilus move to gvfs and a plugin api update. Internally i see already rebuilt: nautilus-cd-burner nautilus-sendto seahorse gnome-mount, nautilus-share, nautilus-open-terminal, totem all need updating still though
When I try to browse Bluetooth devices, I get "Nautilus cannot handle obex: locations.". Is that related to this or should I open a new bug report for that?
The gnome-vfs-obexftp backend needs porting to gvfs. Its being worked on, see: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/FeatureBluetooth#head-22d56b522d5f5bc4d54e7f72d906121f7fc9d47b
Ok, everything is done except nautilus-share.

One more, nautilus-eiciel is fixed now too.
Nautilus-share is done now. Thanks to JPR for the patch.
