Description Federico Mena Quintero 2008-03-26 17:46:03 UTC
In the installer in openSUSE 11.0 Alpha3, Blowfish passwords get used by default. But when I define the first user account with a password longer than 8 characters, the installer asks me if I want to truncate the password.

I had never been prompted about this in the past... are Blowfish passwords really 8 characters maximum, or is the installer getting confused?
