I want to install Opensuse 11.0 alpha 3 on my laptop Acer Aspire 3002LMi.
During the installation Process the program tests the harddisk controller. And now its not opssible to continue. Checking the report I´ve got the message
"iconv_open failed.

This is a duplicate of bug 371997. Please check the Most Annoying Bugs on the OpenSUSE wiki.  The work around for this is to type "hwprobe=-parallel,-misc.par", at the boot menu of the installation.  (Without the quotes of course).
