During installation the computer, a DELL XPS 1710 laptop freezes while probing hard disk controllers. There is no other option that than a reboot. If you try to just exit to text and re-install in text mode, the cd will not operate. I have tried to install ide/etc. drivers but once the error occurs, nothing will load.
