The slab appears to think I have no network connection, whereas network manager clearly shows that I have (as does pinging the world ;-).

Interestingly on the console I get:

** (slab:8895): WARNING **: <WARN>  handle_property_changed(): Property 'ip4_config' change detected but can't be set

It's a shame - since valgrind can't then show me more details on the memory errors that occur when you select the network stats page ;-)
