Description Forgotten User zSppWjup9E 2008-05-01 20:44:44 UTC
Hello,

While testing Beta1 to check localisation, I ended on an English desktop instead of the localized walloon desktop.
I installed KDE4 Destop.

1. All the installation (except the first screen, the content of the slides and the configuration) was full in English.

2. Yast2 did not install yast2-trans-wa (in language pattern "wa") it did install only what was in language pattern ("wa_BE").

3. There is no kde4-l10n-wa package, despite wa was released as official language in KDE 4.0.x branch.

Result, nothing in walloon, everything in English.

If I install with Yast yast2-trans-wa, when I launch in the console with root "LANGAGE=wa_BE;yast2", only the menubar of Yast is localized, the rest and the module are in English.

All of these where working on alpha release of openSUSE 11.0

please do not put several issues in one bug report ;(

yast installs yast2-trans-<language> in my tests with beta2, so I close as FIXED. And there is a kde4-l10n-wa package, it's on the language addon. The yast2-trans-wa is on the DVD though. So I have no idea what's left in this bug report.

Please retest with beta2 and report single problems per bug entry

Ok, I'll test with beta2 and language add-on. It's new that kde translations are on the add-on, it's why i didn't use it.

Thanks
