After upgrading openSUSE 11.0 (i586) Beta3plus (KDE 4.0.4 >= 20080505) "release 9"
Yast2 does not launch conventionally from menu. You get the Authentication prompt and then nothing else happens. It will launch from Konsole using simple command : /sbin/yast2. It does not launch from any point inside the Application Launcher; either from the Computer Tab or from a Favorite. Other applications seem to launch normally - I haven't tried them all.
