Description Lars Müller 2008-05-26 13:39:20 UTC
Updated openSUSE 11.0 Beta 3 to factory with the help of yum and got a lot of

insserv: script boot.setclock: service boot.clock already provided!
insserv: script boot.setclock: service boot.clock already provided!
insserv: script boot.setclock: service boot.clock already provided!

messages while the update.

chkconfig boot.cklock showed off after the update and a chkconfig -a boot.cklock worked as expected.

It would be good if RPM is able to perform an update without any YaST or zypper magic.

With the recent changes to insserv to detect if insserv is called by rpm this might already be addressed in a generic way. See bug 384254 comment 53.
