Bugzilla – Bug 395740
When setting DSL YaST tries to configure package manager and fails
Last modified: 2008-06-02 10:28:54 UTC
After the first logon in openSUSE 11.0 RC1 I was trying to set up a DSL connection with pppoe. YaST tries to configure the package manager. Of course it fails, because there is no active connection yet. Solution: abort the attempted package manager configuration.
Could you please send all yast2 logs from intallation ? If you are unsure follow: http://en.opensuse.org/Bugs/YaST Thanks
I must install again, because in the meantime I needed the partition for something else.
Created attachment 219245 [details] yast2 logs as required
The problem is with the default repositories added during installation (update, factory, debug, non-oss). They should be disabled when there is no network... *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 388039 ***
