Description David Frantz 2008-06-04 02:00:01 UTC
Fresh Install of 11.0 RC1
Download extremetuxracer-0.4-4 RPM prepared for 10.3 and saved to desktop
right click on rpm and select option "Install with Package Installer"
Asks permission to install--click yes
Authentication Frame pops up asking for root password
Type in root password and it fails to recognize it. (Have repeated on clean install)
Finally have to exit out of authentication and it states Failed to install files you don't have

I know some time has passed, but is the situation still the same? If so, could you attach /var/log/messages after a failed attempt?
