Description Hans Petter Jansson 2008-06-04 15:46:52 UTC
On one of my RC1 DVD installs, after installing and logging in with a clean user account, any auth requiring PolicyKit is broken. The password is simply denied.

Apps spew permission problems in /var/run/PolicyKit/.

/var/run/PolicyKit is 770, and it's owned by festival.messagebus (101.102).

I did a fresh DVD install this morning without the problem but HPJ and Jared Allen both had the problem. Suggesting the shipstopper because it breaks updating on GNOME.
