Description Pablo Sanchez 2008-06-13 16:06:45 UTC
Hi,

When making changes via `yast2 > Network Settings', knetworkmanager consistently crashes on my machine.

On my machine, I have both a wired and wireless connection. This problem only occurs while on my wireless connection.

To replicate, I do the following:

o Ensure I'm on the wireless connection
o yast2 > Network Settings
o `Edit' any of the devices
o Change, say, the `Activate device' setting from `At Boot Time' to `On Cable Connection' - doesn't really matter.
o Click `Next' until done with the changes and you return to the main `Network Settings' screen.
o Click `Finish' in the `Network Settings' screen which brings up the `Saving Network Configuration'
o As the progress of tasks is listed in `Saving Network Configuration', it appears (as it happens so quickly it's hard to tell), Knetworkmanager crashes when `Set up network services' is performed.

KNetworkManager - The KDE Crash Handler
=======================================
The application (KNetworkManager) crashed and caused the signal 11 (SIGSEGV).

I'll attach the backtrace.
