If I install RC1 on a system without internet access I got 20 Messages "Cannot access installation media (Medium 1)" after skipping test "connection to internet".
One warning or hint should be enough...

I have this problem during installation and save logs after first boot after installation. Hope they contain the information you need

The problem is that yast tries downloading files from FACTORY repositories which are added during installation.

IIRC the problem has already been reported, I just cannot find the number. (Leaving as ASSIGNED, I'll very likely mark it as duplicate later.)

Finally found it...

There is now a network detection, you shouldn't see any error message in 11.1, refresh is skipped when there is no network.
