Comment 1 saurav nanda 2008-06-25 16:26:05 UTC
The above problem occurs when we go to full screen mode of krdc.
Comment 2 Josh Albright 2008-07-01 15:31:41 UTC
I too have this problem, although on a previous install of openSuSE 11 (on like hardware) I did not have this problem - so it might be a specific configuration option that's causing the conflict. Note that this does not happen w/ VNC connections through KRDC, just with RDP connections. What he's referring to is the drop down menu of KRDC in fullscreen mode.

Easier than CTRL-ALT-BKSP, if you go Start->Disconnect, you'll get a blue screen, then an ALT-F4 will close the KRDC window.

Let me know if there's a log file which will help, because this is 100% reproducible on my laptop. I'm running Compiz w/ Emerald using ATI binary drivers, but I've also used to open source drivers, and well as used just Kwin (KDE3) but the same issue persists.

Could you please retest with a more recent KDE4 like 11.1 or 11.2 M2 ships?
Comment 5 Josh Albright 2009-06-09 18:55:41 UTC
I can confirm this has been fixed in OpenSuSE 11.1 (although the bug was filed for 11.0). I tried on two separate machines one running 3.5 but using KRDC/KDE4 and on another using KDE4.

Closing as fixed according to the last comment.
