When ever I try to update my system, I get the popup:

"Failed to update system: Authorisation could not be obtained"
(The spelling is correct)

uname -a says:

This error would indicate that PolicyKit is not available. Is the package PolicyKit-gnome installed?

rpm -q PolicyKit-gnome
Comment 7 Frank Daniel 2008-09-17 19:20:28 UTC
rpm -q PolicyKit-gnome gives
PolicyKit-gnome-0.8-4.1
