Description Daniele Tombolini 2008-09-09 19:43:32 UTC
hi, with kde-4.1.1, hp-systray always appear in top-left corner of the video and not in systray.

I don't know if this is an hplip or kde bug..

hplip-2.8.4-28.1

Well, found workaround in #377575.
I hope that will be fixed for opensuse 11.1
lowering severity->normal
Comment 2 Johannes Meixner 2008-09-10 06:16:16 UTC
Do you mean that you use the --qt4 parameter
and this works for you (i.e. for KDE4)?

Comment 3 Daniele Tombolini 2008-09-10 17:07:25 UTC
Yes, added "--qt4" to /etx/xdg/autostart/hplip-systray.desktop

"--qt4" switch requires python-qt4..
