X-Session errors

Using latest KDE4:Factory:Desktop packages

libkde4-4.1.1-52.2
kdebase4-4.1.1-42.1
kdebase4-runtime-4.1.1-48.2
kdebase4-workspace-4.1.1-96.1
kdebase4-workspace-branding-openSUSE-11.0-81.12
branding-openSUSE-11.0-12.1

It is not possible to change the desktop wallpaper from the default SuSE green openSUSE110-1600x1200 image. Selecting a different image updates the preview but clicking 'OK' or 'Apply' does not change the desktop wallpaper. No error is shown. When reopening the Desktop Settings dialog the openSUSE wallpaper is selected again.

My xsession-errors has several Errors but I'm not sure they are related to plasma/desktop.

Tried both with pictures from my home directory and other openSUSE pictures (e.g. the openSUSE103 ones). Happens with every activity/containment.
